4. Minutes of the meeting 12th November 2024

To resolve to agree the minutes.

5. Matters arising from the meeting 12th November 2024

  • Planning application 0379/24 Willsworthy Range mast has been refused.
  • Complaints to Devon Highways online reporting facility have been acknowledged. Response circulated
  • Alex Rehaag is re-wording the questionnaire in response to Cllrs’ suggestions. Next discussion will be on how to distribute it to the village.

6. Playground

  1. Councillors to accept one of the estimates requested for the repair of the steps to the slide.

2. Councillors to decide whether – in the light of the offer of £2,459.00 from the Land Appeal group – the council should continue with the present arrangement under which it is solely responsible for the maintenance of the playground, or to press on with discussions with the Sports Field Trustees with the aim of establishing a new agreement for the future maintenance of the playground.

7. Budget 2025-26

Councillors to consider the first draft of the council’s budget for 2025-26 and approve or vary as necessary. (Precept to be decided in January once budget has been approved.)

b. Grant application, Lydford Foxes

Councillors to consider the application from Lydford Foxes for a grant of £170 for important equipment and approve or decline as agreed.
