4. Minutes of the meeting 10th September 2024

To resolve to agree the minutes.

5. Matters arising from the meeting 10th September 2024

  • Response from War Memorials Trust recommending no works be carried out on the War Memorial
  • Donation of notice board sent to Sports Field trustees
  • 6. How to enhance the village of Lydford

Councillors to consider and decide as appropriate:

  1. Issues presently facing the village.

The following were identified at the Annual Parish Meeting as issues facing the village. Is this an accurate summary or should it be amended?

  • Lydford Gorge – commerce vs environment
  • Car park – potential issues arising from displaced parking
  • Public toilets
  • Affordable housing
  • Community engagement with parish activities

B)   How can the quality of life within the village be improved for all?

7. 20’s Plenty campaign

To provide an update for Councillors and identify any further action.

8. Playground

Councillors to consider and resolve as appropriate:

  • How to progress the proposal from the Sports Field committee that they assume responsibility and the expense for maintaining the playground equipment and to make any necessary resolutions toward that end.
  • Outstanding repair required to steps of the slide.
  • 9. Hall rental agreement

To resolve that the Chair sign the new rental agreement.

10. Remembrance Sunday

    To agree the council activity on the day.
